My bestest friend let me take pictures for my portfoloio. :)

  1. She looks very pretty. Just a couple tips though, be aware of what's in the photo with your subject... the broken window is very distracting in the one of her on the bench, and second tip try not to cut off body parts, like her the tip of her foot in that full body of her laying in the grass. That can distract from the total image to. Other then that, your skills are improving! Good job!

  2. Good progress! To second Alyse, a good rule of thumb is never to cut off at the joints. Crop your pictures accordingly either well above or below the joint. If you want a mid shot and can't get all your subjects arm AND hand, then just have your subject move their arm up, more of a hands on hip type... it will look tons better AND having their arm at an angle away from the body makes the arm look skinnier.

  4. Meghan is totally right about that arm thing. She is the one who just did my bridals recently, and that totally worked. Go take a look if you haven't seen them yet. :)
