    K, so this is something I had to figure out on my own that I wish someone had told me. If you select "Refine Edge" and adjust the feather, contrast, radius so it looks faded on the edges in your preview, when you go and use "Fill" it will fade in the shading so it's a more subtle, blended fade :)
