Our wedding plans.

I had a pretty awesome day yesterday, me and Curt were talking about our wedding day and what we wanted to do. We both decided that we both can go through the temple with a little bit of change in are habits. We don't do anything that can't be changed without effort. So we went to the Manti temple and decided that it would be the temple we got married in. I also know that many of you think that we shouldn't have the reception in a church gym, but we are really trying to go the cheapest way seeing is how we are both very poor. LOL I am very excited about my wedding now knowing that I will be doing something I have always wanted to do. The only sad thing about this is certain members of my family will not be able to see me get married including my dad. I have always pictured my wedding with my dad walking me down the aisle to my wedding song, But I guess as we get older we change are minds on what we want. We are still keeping the same date just to give us time to get where we need to be to go through the temple. I am very happy about this and hoping that my friends and family will support our wishes.

  1. What is most important is doing what is best for you. Family and friends just have to respect your beliefs. And don't get down about having your reception in the gym. You can easily transform it into something beautiful even with a small budget. I have a small white metal arch you can borrow if you would like to.

  3. Susie, I stand by whatever you believe. :) I am so happy for both of you that your both dedicated to the same thing. I think it's great. I am not religious in the slightest, but I will be there waiting for you with a huge smile on my face full of admiration and love when you walk out the doors as newlyweds!
    I will always support you.
And Meghan how nice of you to offer that!

  4. Thanks Alyse, and ya don't worry you have to be there to take the pictures of me and him by the temple. It makes me happy that my family supports this, and so far the only ones not ok with this is my friends. I think that's because I am not having any bridesmaids though.
